I am trying to buy into a franchise with a friend and my husband. We have a 4 year old bankruptcy and are looking for less than $100,000 to open. The problem seems to be that there are no tangible assets in the type of business that we are looking to open. Are there any suggestions of lenders that may be willing to loan or a direction that we should go toward? Any suggestions are greatly appreciated.

I am thinking about opening one of those in my part of the city which doesnt have one yet. There are many homes in the area so I think it would be a perfect location. I would love your feedback or to get in touch with someone who owns their own shop.

I use to be a pretty religious gamer playing games from starcraft, cs, dod, c&c, battlefield 2, unreal tournament, warcraft, maplestory, diablo, wow, guild wars, and so on… But now, I’m completely busy with a job and other things and so I really don’t have as much time to play. So I’m looking for a PC game with a worthwhile singleplayer. The reason im not looking for a multiplayer or mmorpg is that they usually have to be time consuming to have fun like WoW or some online RTS ladder. I recently got COD4 by a suggestion from a friend and the single player was amazing. I also got Crysis but it was a bit boring with just eye candy. So any suggestions? Newer games with high graphics would be more appreciated. Ty

I am thinking of investing in a coffee franchise. I plan to buy a coffee kiosk or mobile cart with a coffee company.

Im a single female aged 44 with no children. Ive had a couple of longterm relationships since the death of my partner 10yrs ago.
I rent a room as i could never afford to get on the property ladder ..my late partner and i had rented our place before he died.
Im beginning to feel this is the reason guys dont want to make any further communication with me once they know my personal circumstances..it appears to be about what you have in material worth than who you are as a person.
I work full time ..not in debt ..own my own car ..lead a full life and would dearly love to meet a man ..not to rescue me rather to enhance both our lives with the love and qualities i have to bring to a relationship.
Thank you for taking the time to read this and respond if you choose to.

First off, these past couple of Bond flicks with Daniel Craig have been back-to-back sequels, which is completely unprecedented seeing as no Bond film has been a “sequel” in the sense that one truly relies on the other. Moreover, there’s an acute lack of gadgetry and sheer unrealistic coolness (one might call it campy-ness) in these films. Do you think it’s a change for the better or worse?

I live in a large condo complex and have central heat/air, and a couple of days I came home and I saw these guys leave in a truck and they had just gotten off the roof with a ladder and now my air conditioning does not cool. It was working perfectly before I saw them. I suspected that it happened before as well. I looked up online and saw that people steal it to huff (inhale it or sell it). Has anyone heard about this? what should I do?
Here is a link referring to the inhaling (huffing) of different inhalants, including freon, and yes, it is VERY DEADLY!

I did call the police and they said that I have to notify the property mgmt company and they acted like this must be the absolute lowest priority!

Since yesterday, I’ve been struggling with my computer. Every time I start up and log in there is just an empty desktop. This goes for all user-accounts. By starting up windows taskmanager (ctrl, alt, del) and running internet, I can get the start-button and the program-icons on the desktop back. But whenever I try to adapt something in for example security, network connections, hardware, software, anything in configurations, I get a notice called ‘rundll32.exe, with the code 0xc0000005. When signing in, I get the same code, but with the name userinit.exe. Furthermore I keep getting all kinds of virus-scanner popups, mostly from Antivirus2009.
I tried a system restore, but that failed, for some reason. Also, I found out some ‘non-active systemprocesses’ use 95 of the CPU. Does anyone know what is going on? Or does anyone have a solution? Thanks a lot.
Don’t know if it’s of any importance, but I have Windows XP.
