How can I use a custom playbook in a Madden 08 Franchise for PS2?

I get to the controller selection screen and try to select a custom playbook but it is never there for an option. Can anyone give a detailed process of how to use a custom playbook in a franchise game if it is possible?

    u cant they took it out in 07 in favor of the game planning

    there is no custom playbook in madden 08 franchise. they took it out in madden 07 so they could use the gameplan more.
