They are sometimes also called Field Consultants or Franchise Field Consultants. In small franchise systems they are sometimes identical to District Managers.

These Consultants travel around on behalf of the Franchise parent company to it’s individual locations and make sure the location are running according to system standards, help troubleshoot their problems, help them with strategies to be profitable and in some cases perform formal inspections.

A QSR is a Quick Service Restaurant, such as Wendy’s, McDonalds, Kentucky Fried Chicken etc.
