How can i find out the owner of a company. It is a small franchise.?

I need to contact the owner. How do i find out who that person is?
I won’t have a problem once i know who i am looking for. Please help!

    go to the county clerks office that they are in, tell them the company name, the owners name will be listed on the form of DBA (doing business as), all this info is for free public viewing

    differnat countrys have differant ways
    try the registry you have to register a company name
    it will cost you money for this info
